The simple truth is if the Bara Initiative is going to succeed in its goal to provide a well seen, well-voiced representation of our faith in social media we need the Church to stand behind us in a number of ways:

• First, we need your prayer and encouragement. We don’t say this lightly and we don’t say it because its the religiously correct thing to say. We truly believe that the first step towards having an impactful ministry is prayer. At the same time, the scope of our project is daunting. We ask you to encourage us throughout.
• Secondly, we need you to be Bara Promoters. That is, we need you to go to our page and subscribe. (the more people subscribe, the more we get seen) and we need you to spread the word of what Bara is doing. For a friend that might need direction in dealing with a particular topic, we ask that you point them towards a video on that topic. Post our videos on facebook, e-mail the videos to your friends, pass them along to your pastor, etc.
• Finally, as much as we wish we didn’t have to ask the question, we ask that you consider donating to our project. In order to have the impact that we desire, to be able to spend the necessary time in interviewing, scripting, marketing, and production of the Bara videos and other avenues of media, we need to raise funds. We are a tax exempt 501c3 organization under the fiscal sponsorship of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit organization which serves as an umbrella for organizations and ministries seeking financial stability.
